Asking for `?tab=adoption` renders the report either way, so it can be previewed before it is switched on. An older link using `?tab=usage` or `?tab=policy-enforcement` still works and the address is corrected once you arrive. ### Adoption — headline figures | Figure | Shows | | --------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------- | | **Weekly Active Users** | Developers using an AI coding tool this week | | **Monthly Active Users** | The same over a month | | **Claude Code Users · WAU** | Weekly active users of Claude Code specifically | ### Adoption — charts and tables | Element | Shows | | -------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | **Adoption Funnel** | Seats through to weekly habit, stage by stage, each as a share of **Total users** | | **Weekly Active Users by agent** | Active users per week, one series per tool — Claude Code, Codex, Augment Code, Cowork, Cursor and Copilot | | **Weekly Adoption by Team** | A week-by-week grid of take-up, with a **By team / By manager** toggle that retitles it **Weekly Adoption by Manager** | | **Adoption by Team** | Take-up per team. Selecting a team opens its people | **Adoption by Team** carries: **Team**, **Total users**, **Active users**, **Adoption rate**, **Inactive users**, **Avg. adoption** and **Change** — the last two headed with the window you picked, as *Avg. adoption (8 wks)*. Ten teams to a page, sortable from the headers, with a column picker, and columns you can resize and drag into a different order. Selecting a team opens **its people** in place of the table — twenty-five to a page, with their own search, an **Activity** filter, and an **All teams** breadcrumb to return. The address carries the team as `?department=`. **The Adoption exports carry up to 1,000 rows.** Where your filters match more, the file holds the first 1,000 in your current sort order and the table says so beside its title: *N more teams did not fit the export*, or *N more people did not fit the export*. Narrowing the window, the department, the manager or the band brings it under the cap. **Adoption by Team is built from your directory.** Without the Okta sync it shows **Team Breakdown Needs the Okta Sync**, a **Connect Okta** control and a **Send instructions to IT** control. Weekly Adoption by Team empties out with it; the headline figures, the Adoption Funnel and Weekly Active Users by agent are unaffected and continue to report. The **Adoption Funnel** marks a target line at **50%** of seats. ### Account Access refusals Blocked attempts are not reported here. They live on the Account Access policy's own page, under **Policies → Usage → Account Access**, where opening a policy shows its refusals alongside its configuration. There you get a summary of refusals across the range, the refusals themselves one row each, and the policy's settings. An attempt row carries when it happened, the tool, the Unbound user whose key was used, the account that was refused with its email and organization ID, its plan, the device, and the reason. Opening a row adds that account's email domain and the sign-in method. Refusal reasons are: *Organization not approved* · *Domain not allowed* · *Plan not allowed* · *Policy from another org* · *Policy check failed* ## Filters and controls ### Adoption | Control | Values | | -------------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | **Window** (the unlabelled control, *Time range* to a screen reader) | Last 4 weeks · Last 8 weeks · Last 12 weeks — defaults to 8 and is remembered between visits | | **Department** | Departments in your organization | | **Team Manager** | Managers in your organization | | **Adoption** | 75% and above · 50% to 74% · Below 50% — keeps Adoption by Team to teams in that band | | **Trend** | Rising · Falling | | **Search** | Filters Adoption by Team; searching begins at three characters. The people search inside a team has no such minimum | | **Activity** | On a team's people: Used AI · Never used AI | ## What you can do | Action | Result | | -------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | Switch sub-tab | Moves between Adoption and Account Usage, and the address follows | | Change the window | Recalculates every Adoption figure over 4, 8 or 12 weeks | | Sort an Adoption by Team column | Orders teams by that measure | | Use the column picker | Chooses which Adoption by Team columns are shown | | Select a team | Opens that team's people, and the address follows as `?department=` | | **Export CSV** on **Adoption by Team** | Downloads the teams matching your current filters | | **Export CSV** on a team's people | Downloads that team's people matching your current filters | | **Connect Okta** | Opens the directory sync, which the team breakdown is built from | ## Messages you may see | Message | What it means | | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | `Team Breakdown Needs the Okta Sync` | Adoption by Team is waiting on the directory sync. The other Adoption figures still report | | `N more teams did not fit the export` / `N more people did not fit the export` | More rows matched than one export carries. The file holds the first 1,000 | | `Export failed. Try again.` | The export did not download. Nothing changed, so retrying is safe | | `Failed to load blocked attempts` | The refusals list on an Account Access policy could not load.
