Dashboards arranges several saved queries on one screen, for the figures you want to check regularly.

What’s on the page

All Dashboards lists the dashboards you have built. The list is yours alone — a colleague’s dashboards are not in it, even though saved queries are shared org-wide. Before you have built one it shows No dashboards yet. Ten to a page.

Filters and controls

Each tile draws the chart held by its saved query, filters included; there is nothing to filter on the dashboard itself. The tile reads that query live, so editing the query on Queries changes what the tile shows.

What you can do

Deleting a dashboard leaves its queries in place; they are saved separately on Queries.
A new dashboard starts at No layout configured; Add Widget gives you the first tile, and each tile splits into more, up to 8 tiles — the toolbar counts them for you. An unfilled tile offers Select Query, and shows Empty widget to anyone viewing rather than editing.
